LAS Trust Doctor at F2/CT1/2 Level in Orthopaedics

Full-time, fixed term 6 months with a potential to increase to 12 months

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic doctors to work at F2/CT1/2 level in our Orthopaedic Department at Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals.

This is a post suitable for an enthusiastic doctor looking to progress their career in Orthopaedics. We have had past doctors use this post as a stepping stone as part of their career in Orthopaedics. As a junior member of the department, you will be guided by experienced and approachable Associate Specialists and Consultants. Your duties will encompass both acute and elective orthopaedics over 2 hospital sites. This will include on call responsibilities, the documentation and day to day care of patients, attendance at ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, theatres and clinic.

The successful candidate will be required to work across site.

The posts are full- time, commencing as soon as possible. The duties of these posts include participating in a 1:8 on call rota.

Applicants should have full GMC Registration and a License to Practice and have worked at F2 level or equivalent. Experience of working in Orthopaedics is desirable.

This role may be suitable for non-UK or non-EEA job applicants wishing to apply for Home Office Tier 2 sponsorship.
