Optometrist
15 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 Optometrist with a degree in Optometry and registration with the General Optical Council. The post is split site with clinics held at Southport District General Hospital and Ormskirk District General Hospital. You will be working closely along with the Ophthalmologists, Orthoptists, Nurses and Ophthalmic Technicians.

The core Optometry service includes contact lens, adult and paediatric refraction and low vision clinics.

The department is active in the teaching of undergraduate Orthoptists from The University of Liverpool, trainees in Ophthalmology, pre- registration Optometrists, student Nurses and Health Care Professionals.
