An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, adaptable Band 6 Physiotherapists to join our Band 6 Rotational Physiotherapy Service at Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust. Rotations are currently 9 monthly but we review length regularly with staff. We offer a variety of areas which include:-
Medicine and Surgery
Orthopaedic In patients (Trauma and Orthopaedics).
Spinal Therapy Team from 2017 (new funding)
The variety of rotations make it an ideal place to further develop your career as a physiotherapist.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to be involved in, and contribute to service developments and plans. They will be integral to the MDT, and work with colleagues to facilitate safe, seamless discharge through assessment, treatment and discharge planning with community colleagues. The Therapy and Rehabilitation Service is friendly and supportive place to work.
The successful candidates will be part of the respiratory on call rota and will be given appropriate training and support prior to joining it.
Applicants must demonstrate within their supplementary information how they meet the essential and desirable criteria as we use this to short list.

• Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• HCPC Registration
