We invite applications for a  9 month Fixed Term Contract to join our Band 6 Physiotherapy Rotation.  We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the team. 

The candidate will be an experienced physiotherapist with  a  keen interest in service development and involving/encouraging more junior staff.

Main duties of the job

  • To assess and treat patients within the ward or Community setting.  
  • To assist Clinical Therapy Manager/Team Leader in service development and the provision of a quality service.  
  • To take responsibility for junior members of staff and delegate duties as necessary, providing appropriate level of support at all times.  
  • To meet the Therapy  Service objectives.  
  • To cover for absence when required within the Community and Departments of Southport & Ormskirk Hospital Trust
  • To take part in the On Call Respiratory rota if applicable.

You must have:
• Recognised Degree in Physiotherapist or equivalent
• HCPC registration
