We have a diverse multi-skilled multi-disciplinary team consisting of Doctors, Physician Associates, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Associate Nurses and Heath Care Assistants. The successful candidate will undertake assessment, diagnosis, treatment/referral and discharge of patients with minor illness and injury.
This post would be suitable as a Trainee post on Annex 21 until the postholder is a qualified Emergency Nurse Practitioner (please refer to the NHS Employers website for further information on Annex 21)

There is an exciting opportunity to join the minor injuries team within our Emergency Department (ED).
We are looking to recruit an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) who can practice, without direct supervision, as an independent healthcare practitioner within the minor injuries unit.
You will participate in the care of patients who attend with minor injuries and minor ailments. The ED is currently going through an exciting transition and you will be joining a supportive and dynamic team who will strive to help you meet your professional goals.

Promote and maintain standards of professional practices in order to enhance the
quality of care for patients.
Provide effective management of the centre resources and services.
Autonomously carry out the functions required to fulfil the goals and services of the
centre.
Participate in achieving national targets for emergency care.
