Opportunities have arisen for motivated staff nurses to join the Trauma & Orthopaedic nursing team.

Ward 14a is a Trauma & Orthopaedic ward. Patients are admitted for elective surgery such as hip or knee replacement as well as emergency admissions via accident & emergency department or outpatient clinics.

Our dynamic multidisciplinary team includes specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons, Trauma Nurse, Therapists and discharge coordinator working together to support delivery of high quality care and excellent patient experience.

The trust has a well-established preceptorship programme and this is supported by competency based learning on the ward. The successful candidates will be provided with relevant training & educational support.

The ward has a positive approach to flexible working in order to help our staff achieve a healthy work/life balance. As a ward we take extra pride in our staff, ensuring that professional development is paramount.
