Due to the success of our Theatre Workforce Project we are pleased to announce that we can increase our theatre establishment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Theatre Practitioners with Anaesthetic skills to join our busy, friendly Operating Theatres. The range of specialties include, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Trauma, Urology, ENT, Spinal and Obstetrics.

An added advantage for Anaesthetic Practitioners is the opportunity to extend your role and become part of the Emergency Response Team covering the hospital.

Main duties of the job

If you are keen to add to your existing theatre knowledge, and are committed to developing and enhancing the quality of care provided in the Operating Theatre environment, then this is the opportunity for you. The department provides a 24 hour emergency cover.

Personal and professional growth is actively encouraged and a wide range of career development opportunities are available including professional development support and access to degree modules.

In return we will offer you the opportunity to broaden your existing knowledge of perioperative practice and develop your management skills in a supportive and friendly environment.

- NMC Registered Nurse Part 1with ENB 182 or equivalent / HEA 3183 Management of the Patient in Anaesthetic Settings
